nXmicroplus

nXmicro+

It is the latest addition to the generation of industrial controllers in the nX series.

It is a production intermediate designed to create OEM applications, it can in fact be used for custom installations but also for the creation of its own brand label products.

It is based on Engicam's MicroGea CPU module, an 800MHz ARM CORTEX A7 iMx6ULL with sufficient computing capacity to satisfy even the most demanding automation and control requests.

It can be used alone or with two types of LCD displays, 7 "or 10.1" both with capacitive touch screen and 1024x600 resolution. Both displays are available in a kit including cable that allows a really simple connection and installation..

CODESYS inside

nXmicro + is programmable with CODESYS, a software platform designed to meet the multiple needs of modern industrial automation projects. The heart of CODESYS is the IEC 61131-3 development environment.

In a single IEC 61131-3 development environment, the developer has everything needed to implement the PLC program together with the HMI and Motion Control project. CODESYS also offers extensive communications support fieldbus which includes everything from communication POUs, to the configurator and the communication stack.

CODESYS store ready

nXmicro + integrates the CODESYS runtime in its purest form, so it is possible to use all the libraries supplied with the standard development environment and also all the additional components available on the CODESYS Store.

Detailed information on using the development environment and programming can be found on help.codesys.com.

Linux powered

The heart of nXmicro + is an extremely light and efficient embedded Linux operating system but you don't need to be a Linux expert to use nXmicro +.

In fact, both programming and system settings, such as changing the IP address, can be conveniently done through the engineering of CODESYS.

What can you do with nXmicro +

PLC

You can use it as it is, it has everything you need to build a complete automation system.

+ fieldbus

Thanks to the CAN master and etherCAT master communication stacks you can connect distributed I/O, drives and anything else that can be used to create your automation application.

+ Softmotion

Thanks to a special realtime firmware version available on request and to the softmotion library it is possible to create complex handling applications.

+ HMI

If you want you can connect one of our displays with capacitive touch screen, so you can also create a captivating HMI in addition to the control application using the integrated CODESYS Target Visu.

+ Industry 4.0

You can easily connect your application to a cloud platform and make your system ready for INDUSTRY 4.0 with a few lines of code using the IEC libraries for Amazon Web Services, MQTT and Microsoft Azure available on the CODESYS Store. If for policy or unavailability you do not have a network connection you can use the integrated 3G modem on nXmicro + .

+ Remote service

We have integrated the nabto client, a revolutionary peer to peer communication system that allows you to reach nXmicro + wherever it is installed. Thanks to the PC connection utility you can open a TCP tunnel through which you can connect to your system as if you had it on your table connected with an ethernet cable. It is necessary to subscribe to the nabto service, on their website you can find additional information.
