nX3
The state of the art of industrial controllers
nX3 is a multifunction industrial controller.
Equipped with a powerful dual-core ARM Cortex A9 processor, it is made using the Core Technology developed over the years by neXo and already widely adopted for our custom projects.
It is based on a realtime Linux operating system and can be programmed with CODESYS, the most common IEC61131-3 PLC development environment.
nX3 summarizes all the ideal features of an industrial programmable controller in a single product and can be used to solve all automation problems.
It can perform simple PLC logic but can also be used for the realization of complex movements thanks to the integration of the softmotion, CNC and robotics libraries and to the determinism guaranteed by the Linux realtime operating system appostimanete created by neXo.
It is also modular and expandable thanks to the possibility of installing specially made I/O modules on the local bus.

CODESYS inside
nX3 is programmable with CODESYS, a software platform designed to meet the multiple needs of modern industrial automation projects. The heart of CODESYS is the IEC 61131-3 development environment.
In a single IEC 61131-3 development environment, the developer has everything needed to implement the PLC program together with the HMI project and Motion Control. CODESYS also offers extensive communications support fieldbus which includes everything from the communication POUs, to the configurator and the communication stack.
CODESYS store ready
nX3 integrates the CODESYS runtime in its purest form, so it is possible to use all the libraries supplied with the standard development environment and also all the additional components available on the CODESYS Store.

Fieldbus & Industry 4.0
nX controllers natively support etherCAT and CANopen, they can then be enabled to use all the other available fieldbuses by purchasing the relevant licenses on the CODESYS Store.
All communication stacks have a configurator that simplifies network setup and diagnostics.
Thanks to the available communication interfaces (ethernet, WiFi, cellular) and the libreire for MQTT, Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure the nX controllers are Industry 4.0 ready.
